About the product
I create the highest quality, market leading images in Singapore for my Architectural & Interior Photography services as well as my Commercial Photography services such as Lifestyle, Product and Food Photography.
I shoot with the Canon 5D mark ii, Manfrotto 410 Geared Tripod Head and my main architectural lens which is the Canon TS-E f/3.5 24mm II. I also use the Canon EF 16-35 f/4 L for wider shots, a 50mm lens for tighter shots and the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro for detail shots and food photography. I also own 2 fisheye lenses and several other lenses for specialty photography.
I also shoot with the Camranger system which allows me to view a live feed from the camera on my iPad. This allows me to propose and review shots with clients during the shoot so they know they will be happy with the angles and lighting in the final shots. It also allows me to dress the room and move things around in the frame from across the room while looking through the lens on the iPad. The symmetry of objects in the room always looks different through the lens than it does to the eye standing next to the camera.
For my Commercial Photography services of Lifestyle, Product and Food Photography I use either the existing natural light or I have a variety of lighting gear and light modifiers to create the look my clients desire.
I don’t use simple HDR photography. I use a combination of manual exposure blending and flash. Using the Camranger I can take images with control from the iPad. I manually flash areas of the frame that can’t be reached from out of frame lights and then I blend them in with Photoshop in post. This depends entirely on the existing lighting in the room and the look you are going for. From a more natural look to a more edgy and contrasty look drawing your eyes to certain features with light.
