Headquartered in US, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high performing team within the biotechnology industry. Due to business expansion within Asia, this is a newly created role to be based in Singapore.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the Asia commercial team, you will be a critical member of the team driving our expansion efforts in Asia and will be responsible for leading planning and providing broad decision support and analytics to business leaders. Own and drive continuous improvement across all planning processes, including business planning, ongoing business reviews, financial and operating metrics reporting, and ad-hoc corporate strategic projects.
Provide insights and financial leadership to guide strategic decision making and prioritization aligned with company strategies and goals. Lead the development of near and long-term financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and operating and capital expense plans, including the tracking of key investments and performance metrics. Own the analytical output and support the development of materials for Management Reviews, Close Reviews, and Board of Directors Meetings. Develop strong collaborative partnerships across the company, with in market commercial teams to drive cross-functional alignment. Evolve and scale financial planning systems, processes, and internal controls to ensure best in class financial discipline and data integrity, as well as to deliver forecast accuracy and analytics. Build customer profitability matrices and support the commercial teams as we introduce products to market and manage key trading partnerships.
Your Profile
To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy with minimum 5 years of relevant experience within Retail, FMCG or Healthcare Life Sciences industry. It is essential to have significant experience establishing strong business and financial planning processes as well as solving complex business problems. Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and analytical skills is required. The ideal candidate should be able to seamlessly manage competing priorities in a fast and high-pressured entrepreneurial environment.
