The Company

My client is a leading player in the Energy industry - keen to hire a results-oriented and meticulous Finance talent to oversee the full spectrum of Finance & Accounting portfolio for Singapore entity.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, this position will be responsible in overseeing the financial management of a Singapore portfolio. Responsibilities include accounting operations, reporting, internal control, audit, direct and indirect tax (including tax incentive, such as GTP), compliance with accounting policies, budgeting, preparation of financial statement, as well as handling trade finance documentation such as corporate guarantees, commercial contracts, export letters of credit etc.

You will also be responsible in overseeing treasury, cash management, maintaining strong relationships with banks to support the company's trading portfolio, and managing credit risk exposure. You will liaise with auditors and tax agents on GTP requirements, and prepare statistics reports.

You will proactively drive process streamlining and system enhancement initiatives, and partner senior management closely to support various improvement projects.

Your Profile

• Degree qualified with at least 10 years of experience in the commercial sector, overseeing Finance & Accounting responsibilities, including Tax (GTP)
• Mandatory: Oil & Gas/ Trading industry exposure
• SAP experience is required
• Team management experience
• Desired traits: Team player, hands-on, responsible, results-oriented, detailed and has good interpersonal and communication skills
