Due to business expansion, we are recruiting for a Regional Internal Audit Manager to be involved in IT, financial and operational audits in APAC.

The Role

Reporting to the IA Director and working in a team, you will be responsible for IT, financial, operational and compliance audits of the Group of Companies. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control as well as identify audit issues and concerns in pursuit of practical and value-added recommendations for the management. Plan and conduct process-oriented and risk-based audits to identify gaps for rectification and mitigation. Identify and evaluate potential conflicts, including risk classification, in enterprise systems based on determined ruleset. Apply data-mining techniques and data analysis skills to audit database. Liaise with management for investigation, rectification and communication of audit findings and recommendations. Active follow-ups on audit plans and implementation of audit recommendations are also required. Co-ordinate audit works with external auditors; ensure adequate & effective audit coverage.

Your Profile

To qualify for this role, you must have a Degree in Accountancy from a reputable university and ideally a CIA or CA. We are open to Big 4 auditors with at least 8 years of relevant work experience with exposure in auditing manufacturing firms. Knowledge of risk management and internal auditing technique / computer assisted auditing tools such as ACL is an advantage. In terms of personality, we are looking for a result- oriented and well-organized team player with good problem solving and project management skills. There will be 20-30% travelling within the Asia Pacific region in alignment to Group Travel Policies and government guidelines.
