We believe in applying the right solutions to the right problems, but before that, we need to find out where the problem lies. As such, we will run a diagnostic test on your child’s first lesson with us. We will then provide the feedback to you at the end of the class, so that you are kept in the loop on our suggested approach.

As part of our structured approach to improving your child’s grades, we will be imparting important skillsets that are crucial to reading and writing well. In addition, we will also be going through how to identify, analyse and unpack common examination questions.

Most importantly, we will be actively encouraging your child to pursue a love for reading and writing that is crucial not only for examinations, but for a lifelong journey of learning and self-improvement.

Students’ struggles with the humanities can often be attributed to either a lack of interest or a weak command of the English language. This can be remedied with the proper guidance of an experienced teacher. We believe that your child can achieve excellence in the humanities under our tutelage because we guide our students by systematically identifying fundamental knowledge gaps that students have and rectifying them with a step-by-step approach.

Having studied law at the university level, our humanities teacher is able to view the application of humanities in the broader context and she makes humanities extremely relatable to our students. We have observed that this tends to pique the interests of our students in the humanities, which directly correlates to an improvement in the grades of our students.

It can be challenging to quantify intangible aspects of the humanities, which is why we will run a diagnostic test on your child’s first lesson with us. We will then provide the feedback to you at the end of the class, so that you are kept in the loop on our suggested approach.

In these subjects where numbers can often be overwhelming to a student, we do our best to make the numbers come alive. Our teacher in charge of these subjects take the ‘O’ Level Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Principles of Accounting as a private candidate every year to lead his students by example. In doing so, he is firmly acquainted with the syllabus and has no problems making the subjects relatable to your child.

One of the most common problems student face in Mathematics is the lack of a strong foundation in the subject to begin with. This tends to lead to a snowballing effect, which can greatly demoralise students. We believe in fixing the problem at its roots, and we will not hesitate to help recap any past foundational skills and subjects for your child that he or she may feel lost at. This will eventually lead to a much better understanding of the subject as a whole.

We will help to organise your child’s learning journey with us by documenting every lesson on a progress booklet, and this continual act of journaling will aid immensely in your child’s revision process.
